about Mackenzie

Mackenzie Kuck is a multidisciplinary artist and textile designer with a background in architecture and sustainable design. Kuck has a Bachelor of Architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design at the University of Arkansas with continuing education in Tropical Forest Landscape Conservation from Yale University.

Mackenzie is captivated by the ethereal, romantic qualities of nature. Inspired by lush gardenscapes and floral palettes, her layered, mixed-media paintings emphasize gentle color harmony, soft texture, and wild form. Her practice is a playful yet meditative exploration of ephemeral beauty, as if immersed in a half-remembered dream.

Working with environmentally conscious materials and botanical subject matter, she seeks to honor the natural world both in representation and in practice. Driven by an environmental ethos and a passion for design, Kuck became self-taught in surface pattern design and adapts her original fine art into sustainable textiles for fashion and interiors.

Mackenzie’s work can be found in numerous rotating exhibitions and events. Learn more here.
